There are currently 196 pupils at the school.
Outside there are three play areas; a small self contained area with slide and benches for Reception children, the 'Owl' playground landscaped on several levels with benches and shrubs and the 'top' playground a large multi purpose area. In addition we have an extensive playing field .
As part of the refurbishmentof the original Highwood Site, pairs of classrooms were set up sharing a practical area. All the classrooms are fully carpeted and each practical area is fully equipped for Design Technology and Art activities. Our computer suite opened with 16 networked RM 'school share' machines.Classes have time tabled sessions in the suite so that teachers can teach ICT to the whole class as well as use the technology to support learning in other subjects. We have interactive whiteboards in the ICT suite and also in Year 3 and Year 6.
