Our School Reward System
There is a structured reward system in school.
Individually
- Children achieve house points from the staff in school for a variety of reasons (e.g. good behaviour in school, commitment to working hard)
- When they get 10 house points they get a Bronze card, for 25 they get a silver card and for 50 they get a Gold.
As a Team
- The children in the school are divdied into teams currently named Red, Blue, Green, Yellow
- Each Friday the points from every child in each team is added together and results kept on a chart in the corridor
- The team with the most points at the end of each half term gets a reward of an afternoon playing games brought from home, and we provide refrehsments for them.
As a School
- Each Friday all the points from everyone in the school are added together
- For every five points they get one cube and those cubes are put in an old pickle jar
- When the cube jar is full, the whole school receives a reward. Previous rewards have included a trip to cattle Country, it's a Knockout Day, a Talent show and a games day.
- The jar is usually filled once a term depending on how the children have worked.
