Stage epic on biblical scale

JESUS Christ Superstar was a hit at
Headteacher Chris Raymond was delighted with the enthusiasm of the young performers.
"They came together brilliantly as a team and showed total commitment to the production," he said.
"We had been preparing throughout the autumn and spring term and it was great to see everything come together.
"Being on stage boosts their confidence and teaches them to work and communicate together."
Approximately 50 pupils were involved in the production, staged between Wednesday, February 7 and Friday, February 9.
The main roles were Jesus Christ - Esme Hedges, Judas - Sam Jones, Mary - Abigail Green and Pontius Pilot - Bailey Elderfield, all aged 10.
