hello to everyone at nailsworth primary i really miss this school.from luke daniels.

I used to teach at this school in the middle of the 1980's when it was a secondary modern. It is nice to see it is still a school. I have looked up some other places where I worked and one place is an antiques centre and two are now blocks of flats

Hi i'm Tim Brimble and I used to be a student here at Nailsworth Primary School. I am currently doing my A Levels at Cirencester College. The Headmaster Chris Raymond has changed this school for the better in my eyes. My mum Lorna Brimble has started her fifteenth year working at the school for that i admire her for her tenacity. The teachers are mostly good in my eyes they are kind and friendly. Nailsworth Primary School is not substandard but above standard, The children for all there hard work deserve to be treated it shows that there work has been appreciated. I Hope this school continues for years to come under the watchful eyes of Mr Raymond ex rugby player we could do with him playing for England at the moment.

We are hoping to move to Nailsworth in 2008 so I just checked out your website. Your School looks great, loads of learning and fun, all mixed up together. Ex pupils appear to love it all too. Can`t wait to visit in the not too distant future as I think that my 3 girls will love it!!!

Couldn't resist leaving a comment. I left this school back in '94, long time ago now. I work with children and I'm now a Learning Support Worker at Kemble Primary School. All good fun. Nice website, but some pictures of the staff would be good. It'd be nice to see if any of the teachers from my era are still there and to see how they've aged!

The story of my life which began in Nailsworth in 1924 is being published in a book called "With a Bit of Luck"
The Publisher is The Charles Darwin University Press.
The book of more than 600 pages contains lots of adventures.
It shows that the excitement of learning never ends
It also shows that almost anything is possible and that Nailsworth was a good place to start.

Primary school is very different to secondry and it really makes me think, I appreciate all the help and the education i recieved. It proves to be more helpful than the education i'm getting now, I miss all my old teachers, secondry ones seem to be less involved than they should...or that could be just archway..... ^^ If only i could re-live those years!

i left Nailsworth C.E in 1995 i think
I left to go to Secondary school at Sir William Romneys and then i mooved to bristol. im joined the band Mercury Rain and now im touring and recording with them. i was just feeling a little nostalgic and wanted to look and my old primary school!

I will always remember the memories of this school . Even though i left today, this school is the best primary school in the world! good luck 2 all my friends in y6 and the teachers.

A bit of personal news. My little booklet called Supernatural Sunbeams is being launched in Australia on 19 March. It has a strong attachment to Nailsworth. My first contact with the Natural World was in the woodlands around Nailsworth and I have evolved from that time to bcome one of the most powerful of Natural Healers.

It was nice to see the website for my old scholl, which I attended from 1956 to 1962. In those days, there were classes scattered all over the area, apart from the main school alongside the Parish Church. During my time, I went to classes at Windsoredge, Shortwood Chapel, The Comrades Club and a class over the canteen, beyond the old police station. I particularly remember Mr Munnings, Miss Homfray (the Head), and Miss Smith. Would love to hear from old friends as I have been away from the area since 1972 - in Staffordshire.
